POLICE CALLED TO THE 1100 BLOCK OF NORTH ARTHUR

Upon arrival around 7:20AM  Police located the victim, her car, and a short time later, the suspect.

Fire units also were sent as the man had poured gas on her vehicle and set it on fire.

Police say the man physically assaulted her while both were inside the car, then jumped out and poured and lit the gas while she was still inside.
