Kennewick police have found the suspect who triggered a brush fire near Canal and Quincy Streets Tuesday. But it turns out, that's probably the least of his worries. According to news reports, he 'should' still be in jail for death threats against cops.

Most people are probably a little 'tired' of hearing about how high the fire danger is, or how dry conditions are. We live in the Mid-Columbia, hot, torchy weather is a way of life. But we've never seen this happen before, at least not for a LONG time.

It's part of the summer-long refurbishment of Edison street in Kennewick, between Clearwater and Canal Drive.
