Firefighters did some tough work on Wednesday with indirect line construction on Bethel Ridge in the southern portion of the fire in thick dead and downed timber.

Officials with the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest say the fire grew from 73.403 acres on Thursday to 75,055 acres Today.

Fire broke out at large potato plant in Warden Thursday evening.
