After Famous Dave's shocked Tri-Cities residents with its sudden closing, folks have been wondering what (if anything) would replace it.

Walla Walla Indian Cuisine is opening up the new Maharajah restaurant at the old Famous Dave's location near the Columbia Center Mall.

Abrupt closing leaves employees out of work. Word is, the building was sold, they lost their lease. Not known if they will reopen elsewhere in Tri-Cities.
