Besides in-class 'traditional' schooling, the Kennewick School District plans to vastly increase online learning options, including even naming it's coming "online" high school.
Highlands Middle School is believed to be the first in the District to mandate students have cameras turned on for distance learning. Nothing posted on KSD site for others.
Both Richland and Kennewick are down noticeably over 2019-2020, however, those figures are tabulated initially at the beginning of the school year. They are tracked and updated periodically, but no specific numbers are known for students who have 'left' for other educational programs.
