Four persons, all men in their 20's, have fallen and died at the falls over the last four-plus years.

The report says a 28-year-old man from Walla Walla and his wife went on a hike at Palouse Falls. When they neared the bottom of the falls, a rock dislodged from above striking the man on the head.

I'd suggest heading to Palouse Falls or Mt. Rainier State Park, both places are gorgeous.

What started as a sight seeing adventure for a Spokane couple turned into tragedy when the 25 year old man attempting to take a selfing lost his footing on a cliff and fell into the Palouse river above Palouse falls and is presumed deceased.

Authorities continue to search for the body of a 22-year-old man who most likely drowned at Palouse Falls. Columbia Basin Dive Rescue continues to search under and around the waterfall for the as yet unidentified man. (UPDATE SEE BELOW)
