Last week, the Port of Kennewick voted to close down Vista Field and sell the land to potential developers. The facility had been losing thousands of dollars each year over the last decade. Now that the official decision has been made, commissioners will be meeting to finalize plans Tuesday, April 23 at 2 p.m. at the Commission Chambers, 350 Clover Island in Kennewick.

It will likely come down to the opinion of Kennewick residents.

Perhaps once and for all the fate of Vista Field will be decided.
