Conner Mertens story is receiving world-wide attention, because he's the first known college  football player who's announced they are gay while still playing the sport.

The playground will be temporarily closed July 1-2 while a Lampson crane helps install the carousel. A gazebo will be relocated to allow the carousel to be built.
