Proposed Bill Would ‘Ban’ Initiatives, Referendums, in “Odd” Years
The Washington State Constitution guarantees the right to file and Initiative (such as I-976 the $30 car tabs) or Referendums in ANY year. This bill would violate the Constitution by making them only in even years (2022--2024 etc).
