A few days ago a suspect swam out into Moses Lake and had to be fished out, now a Franklin County burglar swims to a Columbia River Island in an effort to evade capture

The Deputy swam out to the man, made sure he was OK then helped tow him to shore

The fishermen said no need to thank them, but we will in story anyway.

Franklin County Coroner Dan Blasdel has identified the 11th drowning victim in area waters this year. He was credited with helping save two other swimmers, but sadly, was taken by the river himself.
