Teen Girl in Car Hit By Bullet in Drive-By Shooting
Kennewick police are searching for the suspect vehicle in a Monday night drive-by shooting that left a 17-year-old girl with an injury.
Around 9;35pm the girl was sitting in this car with some friends at Underhill Park when gunfire was heard. She was struck in the arm. The girl and the others drove away to the area of South Vancouver and 4th street then called 911.
Upon arrival police found her wound was not life threatening, she was taken to Trios Southridge ER.
Police say a suspect vehicle was seen leaving the area immediately after the shots were fired. It's believed to be a 2002-2006 charcoal grey or blue Dodge Durango. No other details were available. Anyone with any information is urged to call (509)-628-0333. All leads can be confidential.
