Kennewick police were called to the area of North Volland and West Hood around 3:45am for a disturbance report early Thursday morning. What they got were two suspects, a chase, and a fight.

Upon arrival police found a man and woman, who were contacted about the ruckus. The man, Curtis Smith, decided to run from cops, he was captured near Tweedt Street a few blocks south. However, he struggled with officers, was handcuffed, then kicked one of the policemen.

Cops found meth on him, and was not only booked on various charges related to the incident, but a previous outstanding warrant. Although it was not said, it's possible he sustained minor injuries as he was cleared at TRIOS Hospital before being taken to jail.
