Thief Boldly Dumps Old Bike, Steals New Spendy One From Home

Pasco police are seeking to identify this man, as he made off with a bike that ranges in value anywhere from $500 to $2,000 or higher.

Tuesday during the lunch hour, this suspect rode up to a home in the 4000 block of Riverhaven in Pasco, ditched his old 'tired' bike, then made off with a nice black and red Felt mountain bike.

Authorities are calling him the Bike Swap Bandit, anyone with any information is urged to call (509)-545-3421. All leads can be confidential.

That bike he rode off on could land him more serious charges due to it's value. A check of online bike prices shows these Felt brand mountain bikes can range in price from $450-500 for a good used one, to well over $2,000 for a new model.
