Today is the 40th Anniversary of the Mount St. Helens Eruption [VIDEO]

People all around the Pacific Northwest will never forget the afternoon of Sunday, May 18th at 12:36 pm. it was the day the mountain blew Mount St. Helens erupted and changed the topography of the area forever.

I read a story on social media today from the folks at  White Pass ski area and what they witnessed that day...and by the way, the ski area was open in May for skiing...
