Benton County Deputes on patrol with the Gang Unit stopped a vehicle near Yellowstone Ave. Wednesday evening, and ended up spending a lot of time going through drugs and related items found on the people and in their vehicle.

When the Deputy approached the vehicle the driver was seen trying hide some items, and K-9 Sawyer (who's an expert drug sniffing dog) alerted the officers as well.

The driver is in jail now after meth and other narcotics were found in side. The car has been impounded pending further investigation.
