1916...that's the year Gregory Peck was born, The Boy Scouts Of America was formed and Kellogg's All-Bran Flakes made their debut, it's also the last year the Tri-Cities received as much snow fall as we've received in February -- until now!

We've received 16.5 inches so far this month and we are on target to beat the old record of 24 inches that was set in 1916 in Kennewick.

We still have a winter storm watch in effect until next week so if the snow keeps flying, we could easily beat that 1916 record.

I thought the blizzard of 1996 was bad but so far February of 2019 is turning out to make that look wimpy.

You can check out more on the snowfall records here

Can we get there? Do you think we'll beat the record? Let us know what you think!
