Two Cars Play Gun Tag in Kennewick, Search Ramps Up for Suspects

Shell casings were found in the area, now the search ramps up for vehicles.

TWO VEHICLES SOUGHT IN SHOOTING INCIDENT FROM MONDAY

Kennewick Police are searching for the suspect vehicles from an altercation around 12:45 PM.  Two vehicles were driving on Vancouver from 10th, and then it appeared people inside both vehicles fired at each other.

Witnesses and those who called 9-1-1 said at least 3-4 shots were heard, there could have been more. The shots were heard near 6th and south Vancouver.

   POLICE FIND SHELL CASINGS NEAR THE SCENE

The vehicles, which headed in separate directions afterward, were described as a  silver-colored car, and a dark-colored pickup. The vehicles left the scene before Police arrived. Several small-caliber shell casings were recovered in the road.

A search of the neighborhood did not turn up any homes or buildings as being hit by bullets, the case remains under investigation.
