One teen will get 9 1/2 half years, the other 10 1/2 for their role in this shocking crime.

16-year-old Billy J. Underwood and 17-year-old Dyllan K. Martin will spend twenty years combined in prison for kidnapping 86-year-old Hazel Abel last November, stuffing her and her dog in the trunk of her car, and driving to Oregon six hours away before the woman escaped.

The two boys, and a female accomplice, were captured shortly thereafter.

This shocking case, which grabbed national headlines, saw Underwood, who received 9 1/2 years, and Martin who got 10 1/2, featured shocking details about the boys planning to possibly burn her car with her inside to destroy evidence.

Abel pulled the emergency trunk release switch when the three teens stopped at a Walmart in Wood Village, OR and ran for help.

KateLynn Kentfield,  the girl involved in the kidnapping, will serve three and a half years in a juvenile facility. It is believed the two boys will be housed in a juvenile facility until they turn 18, then serve rest of sentences in Walla Walla or another state prison facility.

Prosecutors asked for exceptional sentences due to the unusual cruelty of the crime.
