Early Tuesday morning, just after midnight, Kennewick Police had responded to a report of shots being fired in the 3500 block of West Hood Ave.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim who had been shot twice. He was taken to an area hospital where initially he had been reported in stable condition. As officers continued the investigation, they were able to develop a suspect.
