Violent Crash Shows Why Drivers Need to Be Alert!

Thursday, we were again reminded why it's important to keep your head on a swivel when driving.

Police and fire units responded to 10th and Clearwater for a two vehicle crash that sent at least one person to TRIOS ER, and ended up with a vehicle in somebody's backyard.

Police say the car pictured (badly damaged) was preparing to turn onto 10th from Clearwater when they were violently rear-ended by the van (seen in the yard).

No word if the offending driver was using any digital items, but police indicated inattention the cause of the wreck.
