The name of the suspect was not released, but Benton County Sheriff's officials say they were apprehended.

Tuesday night Deputies responded to the 1700 block of South Gum Street for what was said to be an "order violation,"  possibly no contact order. Deputies said the suspect was known to them and also considered to be a violent person.

He appeared to be armed, but left the location before authorities arrived, and the victim said the suspect was armed. Deputies found him in the 1500 block of South Washington and after initial resistance, the suspect was 'convinced' to surrender.

Turns out the gun he had was a 'replica' handgun, but that won't keep any less charges from being levied.
