It's not a HUGE snowdrift, but when you consider these photos were taken only a few minutes apart, it's startling. These were posted late Tuesday night around 11pm.

Benton County Sheriff's now report a number of county roads are closed now due to blowing and drifting snow. They include:

Hanks Road between District Line and Case Noads Northeast of Prosser now closed due to hazardous driving conditions. Also portions of the OIE (Old Inland Empire Highway) may also be closed soon due to snowdrifts.

They remind motorists, as does Franklin County Sheriff's too, DO NOT go around Road Closed signhs or risk driving on roads that are clearly marked off.  Already a number of drivers (including that semi earlier this week) have been stranded.

Be careful!
