West Richland Strangulation Suspect Now Facing 1st. Degree Murder
Authorities did not offer much of an explanation, but Thursday, the man accused of killing a woman at his West Richland home December 9th is now facing 1st Degree Murder Charges.
William C. Lee had been charged with 2nd Degree, but Thursday, it was raised. Alisa Brewer was found dead in his home December 9th, she had died from ligature strangulation (had a binding item around her neck). She was also found to have significant trauma to her head, face and body which was discovered during her autopsy.
Lee, 24, had threatened to kill himself during a standoff with police at the Fairway Manor Apartments. He fired a gunshot into the ceiling while on the phone with police, but eventually surrendered.
