Just because we haven't had the first really huge freeze of the fall-winter doesn't mean roads don't present a challenge.

Tuesday morning, Kennewick police responded to a report of a one vehicle rollover near East 3rd and Gum streets.

Police said the driver, 22-year-old Clarence D. Enriquez, was trying to turn from 3rd onto Gum Northbound, but was traveling well too fast for the road conditions. At the time, overnight rain and cool temperatures made conditions slick.

His Ford truck slid off the road, hit the curb, and rolled into the nearby ditch. Enriquez was cited for traveling too fast for road conditions. No mention made of any injuries.
