Yakima Man Runs into Cop Cars, Shot & Killed

Yakima police officers tried to make contact with a vehicle Friday night.

The car had no lights, so officers tried to pull the driver over.

The 66 year-old man then hit two patrol cars. The man was shot at and killed at the scene.

There isn't an official number on how many shots were fired.

The Yakima Police Department, as per their policy, have put the officer on paid administrative leave. There is an investigation ongoing, which is being performed by the Yakima Valley Special Investigative Unit.
