Several high-profile wrecks near Boardman have killed people in 2015. A couple more flipped vehicles near Heppner. And don't forget it's called "Deadman's Pass" for a reason. Yet none of those stretches of road made the list of most dangerous in Oregon. In fact, Eastern Oregon's most dangerous stretch of road is one you'd NEVER guess.

The most dangerous stretch of highway between Washington state and Nevada is Highway 730's Umatilla Port of Entry.

Apparently there are a ridiculous number of rear-end accidents there!

The state believes a couple more signs could solve the problem. Re-doing the street layout would be very expensive, but may be the best solution.
