
16-year-old Hermiston Boy Stabs Father During Heated Argument
The boy has been arrested on 2nd. Degree Assault charges after the altercation.
Monday afternoon, shortly before 4:30pm, Umatilla County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home in the 3100 Block of Cecil Street in Hermiston, on a report of an altercation.
When they arrived they found the boy's father, 52-year-old Brian Bush, had sustained injuries to his side. He'd been arguing with the boy, it turned violent, and the teen pulled a knife and stabbed Bush.
Bush was taken to Good Sheppard Hospital in Hermiston with non-life threatening wounds. The boy's name was not released, according to yaktrinews.com.
