16-Year-Old Killed, 2 Others Hurt in High-Speed Bothell Crash
An early-morning crash in an unincorporated area of Bothell, WA on Saturday has left a 16-year-old driver dead.
2 passengers taken to area hospital
Just before 2 AM, Snohomish County Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 24200 block of Locust Way, and found a deceased teen at the scene.
Deputies and EMS said 2 passengers in the car were rushed Harborview Medical Center for evaluation.
Investigators said the vehicle was northbound from King County, then just after crossing the county line into Snohomish, the vehicle failed to negotiate a sweeping right hand turn, then drifted off the road and slammed into a chain link fence. The vehicle was suspected to have been involved in an eluding incident in King County with Lake Forest Police just prior to the crash.

The SCSO Crash Investigative Unit continues to work on the case.
