4 Cops Needed to Take Down Hotel Domestic Violence Suspect

Early Monday morning, after getting calls from guests at the Clover Island Inn about a disturbance, Kennewick police arrested a man after having to wrestle him to the ground.

Oscar Garcia, age and hometown not listed, was contacted by police about the incident, but refused to let officers into his room to check on his girlfriend. He also refused to cooperate, and resisted arrest. After a struggle, in which it took four officers to take him down, the woman was found in the room.

She had obvious signs and injuries consistent with assault, she was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. Garcia is now in the Benton County Jail facing multiple charges.
