For some, they might not be the worst, there are thousands of ideas as to what the worst Christmas presents are. But if they're getting returned, it means they were not wanted...and that can be from being really not wanted. In no particular order.
CANDLES
Every year, retail stores see thousands of these fragrant burners brought back for money. Some people have particular faves, if you miss, it gets returned.
PICTURE FRAMES
Nothing says Happy Holidays like reminding people they have to go through their photos, print, crop, and mount.
BOXES OF CANDY OR CHOCOLATE
Some people just open and eat and share, but unopened, they're a big returned item. Some say they make people wanting to go on a post-holiday diet even more stressed.
PERFUME OR COLOGNE
Unless your spouse or significant other asks for their favorite scent, most of the time this is not a good idea. People, especially ladies, know exactly what they want and don't. Get it wrong? It's going back to the store.
VACCUM CLEANERS
Any other time of the year, useful. Good for a college student going away, or if your spouse says they really want this or that model to make cleaning easier. But to give one at Christmas kind of implies they need to do a better job of keeping the place up.
