One Tri-City man is pressing for a "nudist" section of a Benton County park and officials don't know if he's serious. But they're willing enough not to shoot him down right away. The unidentified man asked for a section of Hover Park to be classified as "clothes optional." Officials claim it's "just an idea."

Benton County's Sustainable Development Manager Adam Fyall has had one phone call with the unidentified man, and found the request to be "a little strange." The sentiment was shared with some of the other county officials. Fyall said the request could have certain "challenges."

It's said that there was some laughter from officials and citizens in the commissioner's meeting earlier in December.

But it hasn't been shot down yet.
