Sunday evening, Police working a crime scene in Pasco were surprised when the alleged suspect came wandering back to the area.

Around 8:38PM Police were called to the Thunderbird Motel at 414 West Columbia Street for a report of a man who allegedly tried to rape a woman after taking her cellphone and money.

The man fled the scene, Police arrived and began to process the scene and talk to witnesses. Then Shavontae Sanderfer, 24, the suspect, came walking back up. Officers did not say why he returned to the motel, but he was found to have meth on his possession. Now he's facing additional charges besides the original incident.
