Anonymous Person Paying Off Peoples’ Layaway Accounts

Could be the feel good story of the season:  In Detroit, and at other K-Mart Stores across the country, mysterious donors are paying off people's layaway accounts.

At K-Mart stores in Omaha, Indianapolis, Detroit, and other cities reports are coming in of anonymous donors paying off people's layaway and holiday accounts.   Some they don't know who they are, other people report when they are in line to pay somebody walks up and offers to pay for them.   The theme is the same, though, according to the recipients and K Mart officials, the in-person payers refuse to give their name, and only ask that they remember to help someone else...a great story for Christmas!
