All through the Osama bin Laden operation, White House and military officials were mum on who actually carried out the mission in Pakistan.  While most can guess the CIA was involved, and some sort of special unit,

for security reasons, even Obama would not specifically name the military branch who carried out the daring raid.  But leave it to Joe Biden to once again spill the beans.  Biden, who since the presidential race has cemented his image as a loose-lipped gabber who either cannot get his facts straight, or cannot keep a secret even when national security is involved.  Biden, at a Washington D.C. dinner Tuesday night, not only named the specific branch of special ops who carried out the mission, but their commanding Admiral.  Now, while this may seem benign to some,  especially naming the Admiral who commands these special forces greatly narrows down, intelligence wise, who these soldiers are.   Tremendous security and secrecy are kept by the military and even White House about our special forces--literally, we don't even really want hostile forces to know they exist.  But Biden could not, again, keep his mouth shut.  And, it's ironic that it's a British columnist, Toby  Harnden, of the Telegraph Newspaper, who was the first to point this out.  This serious security gaffe was virtually ignored by the American media.
