Another Suspect Nabbed in Drive By Shooting Case

Late Tuesday night in Wednesday morning, another suspect in the Sunday evening drive by shooting in Kennewick was apprehended.

Police and gang units swarmed a home in the 2200 block of South Vancouver, where 22-year-old Mitchell Talevera was taken into custody.  He's one of the suspects wanted in the gang related shooting near 8th and Date Streets. No one was hurt in that incident but multiple homes and cars were hit by gunfire. After a brief standoff he was finally taken into custody.

Police have also apprehended Andres Torres-Rodriguez in Walla Walla and 38-year-old Tomas Hinojosa Jr. was arrested on unlawful weapons possession charges and multiple warrants.

Police are still looking for 25-year-old Nicholas Medlelez, and say if anyone knows his whereabouts or sees him to call 911 immediately.
