For the second time in a week, a woman has been threatened with burning as part of an assault.

LAST WEEK ATTACKER POURS GAS ON WOMAN'S CAR, SETS ON FIRE WITH HER INSIDE

Last week, on North Arthur Street, a domestic incident turned ugly when the woman's assailant poured gas on her car after assaulting her, setting fire to it while she was still inside. She escaped.

Now, Police continue to investigate a Wednesday afternoon incident in Zintel Canyon.  Around 3:55 PM Police conducted a welfare check after getting reports of neighbors hearing a woman screaming.

Upon arrival, they found a man and woman involved in a disturbance, and he had poured lighter fluid on her and threatened to kill her.  The man was quickly subdued and taken into custody. He's in the Benton County jail charged with Assault 2 and Felony Harassment, both upped to "DV" or Domestic Violence.
