According to a new study published in the British newspaper The Telegraph, Duke University researchers claim -- scientifically -- that women are crabbier than men in the morning.

Before you get angry ladies, the study claims women biologically need more rest than men. According to the research, women need at least an extra 20 minutes of sleep than their male counterparts.

Apparently men are able to withstand some slight sleep deprivation better than women.  The Duke study says women who consistently don't get enough rest can suffer from increased rates of heart disease, stroke and even depression.

So maybe men should let their wife snooze a little longer in the morning. And remember, the next time she seems a little snappy in the morning it's not you, it's human biology!
