Arrest Made in Fatal I-182 Drive By Shooting
Pasco Police say a 17-year-old has been arrested Wednesday night in connection with the fatal shooting of a person in a car that was west bound on I-182 a week ago Thursday.
Around 5:20PM Police and other law enforcement officers were called to the westbound lanes between Road 68 and the 20th Ave. exit, for a report that a person had been struck by several bullets from another passing vehicle.
After nearly a week of extensive investigating, police say the 17-year-old was arrested in what is now a fatal incident. The victim had been in the ICU of an area hospital but they died earlier this week.
The suspect is being held facing First Degree Murder charges, an investigative hold. Police had said the victim was targeted, and the incident was gang related.
