Arson Fire Torches Back of Kennewick Nightclub

Kennewick police are searching for the suspect, or suspects, who set fire to storage items behind a defunct Kennewick nightclub Wednesday.

Fire crews responded to the alley behind 109 West Kennewick Ave, the former location of the Crave Nightclub. Authorities say somebody set fire to a large number of stacked tables and chairs behind the building, causing extensive damage.

The fire threatened the building, but was extinguished before spreading to the structure. Due to initial evidence, fire investigators say it was likely arson, and are treating it as such.
