At-Large Violent Assault Suspect Breaks Down Door, Beats Woman
Kennewick Police and other enforcement agencies are on an active search for this suspect, after a violent assault Wednesday.
Kennewick officers say 24-year-old Efren Torres is accused of breaking through a door at a residence in the 1100 block of West 10th, then hit a female victim causing significant injuries.
The specifics of the injuries were not given, it is not known if any were life-threatening. However, Torres fled the scene just prior to the arrival of the Police. It is not known if he was on foot or in a vehicle.
He's now being sought on charges including Residential Burglary, Assault Domestic Violence and Destruction of Property.
