I started my radio career only a few short years ago. In 2018 I was offered my dream job as a morning co-host, alongside Steve Woods, also known as "Woody." Together we make up the "Kord Waking Crew," and what a crew of two we are. I grew up in Wendell Idaho, where I spent the first twenty years of my existence living a very small-town-girl life. Just before my twenty first birthday I packed up and moved to Washington. I moved around a bit in the Tri-cities until I decided West Richland was the best fit for me and have spent most of my time there. I have been a bartender most of my adult life and am currently still a bartender (when the pandemic allows it) at the Palm Bar& Grill in Benton City. Transitioning from a bartender to a radio disc jockey came so natural, considering 90% of being a good bartender consists of entertaining people. I have three pretty groovy kids and I am lucky to say I have three best friends as a result of that. My son Devin, who is the oldest works for a local tree trimming company and my two daughters, Bret and Kamrace are both baristas. My hobbies usually include getting injured, I will try anything once. I love being with friends and family and being the life of the party. I enjoy entertaining people and laughing until it hurts. I am a firm believer that laughter is the best medicine, always.
