It seems as though this Halloween might just be one for the books, everyone is really going above and beyond and going all out. The yards are decorated to the very extreme and people are getting very extravagant with their costumes. One thing that will be worth checking out will be the celebration out in Benton City. They ALWAYS go above and beyond but this year there seems to be more people planning on coming out.

On Sunday October 31, Benton City will be hosting a giant Trick or Treat event for the kids. Local Businesses and private residents have registered to be added to a map that will be available at the beginning of the event. You can retrieve your map either on the Benton City Chamber website or pick one up at the Chamber kiosk at 513 9th street. The event starts at 3:00 p.m. and will go until 7:00 p.m. They will be following social distancing protocol and ask that everyone follows the protocol.

The town will be oozing with Halloween spirit and you are encouraged to take a drive out and be part of it! There will be flash mobs, spooky decorated homes and a pumpkin carving contests. For full details and to see how you can participate you can visit the Benton City Chamber of Commerce.

This is something I look forward to each and every year and something I take part in. I will be handing out candy at the Palm Bar & Grill from 3:00-7:00 so I hope to see you all out there!
