The Benton Franklin Fair is gearing up full steam, and if you happened to hang on to tickets purchased last year, they're good this season.

Those include concert tickets (reserved seating) rodeo tickets, carnival wristband passes or rodeo bucks, they're being honored for 2021...provided they were PRE-PURCHASED in advance.

The fair will take place August 24-28. With pledges of the state "re-opening" June 30 or July 1, the Fair is confident it can stage an event like it's used to.

One significant change will be the rodeo, where only reserve seats will be sold.

No doubt the FFA exhibitors will be glad they will be back in the barns, last year their annual livestock sale had to be done virtually, online.

The Fair's shows, billed as the Yakima Federal Summer Concert Series, will include County start Trace Adkins, Rapper Nelly, who were supposed to perform last year prior to it being cancelled. The pre purchased tickets for their shows will be honored.

Other acts will include classic rockers Foghat, current rock band Seether, and the band The Plain White T's.

Tickets are expected to go on sale sometime next week, they will be available at the Kennewick Ranch and Home, as well as the fair office which has moved.

The Fair Office is now located at 812 S. Washington Street in Pasco. The demo derby will also return, and the Fair Parade will be held in Downtown Kennewick August 21st, starting at 10AM.
