Pasco Police continue to search for the suspect(s) following a fatal shooting Wednesday night.

Around 6:30PM police were called to a home in the 1900 block of East Lewis, where they found a man had been fatally shot, and two others hurt.

Reports say several people were seen running from the area, but no word if any of them located. Police were in a lengthy standoff at a nearby gas station due to possiblity of a suspect being in a restroom there, but that was later called off after it turned up empty.

Police say bullet holes were found in a building across the street from the area. Police suspect the people who fled the scene area suspects, the search continues. The ID of the man killed has not yet been released. Police did not say if it was gang related.

UPDATE--the identity of the slain man has been released, he's 29-year-old Luis Contreras of Pasco. An autopsy is scheduled at a later date to officially determine the cause of death.
