Benton County Deputies will be able to return a sizeable number of items to individuals after arresting several car prowlers Thursday night.

Deputies were called to an area on 12th Street in Benton City, after getting some calls about three people seen peering through car windows, and some trying door handles.

Upon arrival, Deputies detained a male juvenile, and after talking with his parents, discovered this stash was NOT his.  These items pictured were among a number of items found to have been taken from various vehicles.

Deputies and other officials (again!) remind people to lock car doors at all times, and NEVER leave anything of value in your vehicle that you're not willing to part with.

Especially during the COVID shutdowns, officials say thefts in daylight have increased.
