A man who faked his identity to trick young girls into having sex on camera with a fake porn casting interview will now face punishment. This case started in December of 2016 when the Attorney General filed a civil suit against Matt Hickey, the man accused according to news reports. They say he violated state's Consumer Protection Act through "unfair or deceptive acts" when he posed as a porn business. Then Hickey did not respond to the charges, allowing the judge to automatically rule in favor of the Attorney General because of default. Hickey's lawyer's name is James Bible and he had no comment on the ruling.

Hickey is also facing three counts of rape not in connection with this case and he has plead not guilty. The civil suit can bring fines of up to $2,000 per violation. Every time he sent an individual message to these woman, it can be considered a separate violation and another $2,000 fine. The AG office would not give an estimate on the total fines he faces but did say they would seek the maximum allowed.
