Big GOP Rally Happening Sat. Oct 17 John Dam Plaza Richland

There will be a large political GOP rally coming to Richland's John Dam Plaza on Saturday, Oct. 17th., planned to run from 2PM to 4:30PM. It's the We The People Protest/Rally.

The event is being staged by the Tri-City Republicans on Facebook, a group of about 1800 plus members. (the group is 'private,' in that a person must request to join).

The event will feature a number of guest speakers, including former GOP Governor's Candidate Dr. Raul Garcia; Franklin County Commissioner District 3 Clint Didier; former GOP Governor Candidate Joshua Freed who is now part of the major Lt. Governor write-in campaign; and Attorney General Candidate Matt Larkin, who is challenging incumbent Bob Ferguson.

Other local legislative officials and candidates who are on the list to speak include 8th District State Rep Matt Boehnke, Franklin County Commissioner District 1 write-in candidate Steve Bauman, 16th District Reps Perry Dozier and Mary Dye, and others.

Several other speakers are possibly being added to the list. There will also be music, and other presentations.
