Boardman Fatal Shooting Suspect Surrenders, He’s Only 17!

You recall earlier this week we reported on that fatal shooting at a trailer park in Boardman, OR, and police were looking for a juvenile as a person of interest. Well, now he's the prime suspect.

According to reports from police and KEPR TV, the Sunday night shooting killed Evencio Salas Birrueta. The 17-year-old, who's name was not released, turned himself into authorities in Cowlitz County, and he's been charged with unlawful use a of a weapon.

Reports indicate Birrrueta was shot in the shoulder, and attempts to revive him at the scene failed.
