Brother of Accused Child Porn Suspect Answers to Own Charges
David Bunch made an appearance in Benton County Superior Court Monday (June 23) on charges of possession of child porn.
Bunch is facing 2 counts of possession and depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Police were led to David as part of their investigation into his brother Daniel. Last July Daniel was arrested after authorities discovered thousands of hours of pictures and video on a laptop computer he had at his work at Bunch Finnigan Appliance. His computer was NOT hooked or tied to the company's systems.
Authorities began to investigate Daniel after regional child porn task force officials noticed some activity online that led them to him. Then earlier in June of this year, police questioned David about a laptop he had at the store and discovered the photos-videos. David Bunch admitted he'd first viewed child porn back in 2010. David gave police information that leads them to believe his brother 'helped him get started' in this shocking process.
His trial is set to begin on August 17th. During his hearing, the judge laid out restrictions and conditions for his release prior to the trial, which includes only using the internet and computers at work in connection with his job.
He plead not guilty Monday at the hearing.
