Burbank Pushes Back Some Students Return After Staff COVID Positive
Columbia Burbank Schools this week began their second week of school returns with hybrid learning, last week; 1st, 3rd, 6th, 9th and 10th graders began. This week it was 4th, 5th graders, and 2nd grade will be pushed back along with 7th 8th 11th and 12th graders.
The second grade students were being bumped back because two grade level teachers tested positive for COVID-19, and due to their absence, the school could not provide enough educators to cover the grade.
Otherwise, District officials in a letter send to parents said all the hybrid programs were working well and would remain on schedule.
